Time for Trout to really stamp his mark on the 8 shirt.
Lammy has shown patience and loyalty to him and Halton. Halton looked the part second half of last year and will go very well. Trout has had his moments but still needs to cement that front row starting position.
For what it’s worth I think he will have a big year if he can stay fit for the opening games and get his confidence. The last few games last season he was looking impressive.
Gaz OB will be the talking point but he is dependable, runs hard, tackles hard, has an eye for a gap, and backs-up well. We will likely be still on the lookout for a 6 but Gaz will give 100% and Lammy obviously trusts him.
1-17 right now will give us top 6, with anywhere 4-6 doable with a fair shake of the injury tree.
We also know we have cap space to strengthen or shore up where needed as the season unfolds.
All in all I can’t wait. We are younger and faster. But let’s give them a few games to hit their stride Leythers.

So, GOB getting the 6 shirt is a hint that we're not in for Sneyd any more. Not sure how much more of a hint they needed after the owner of the club specifically said we're not in for him earlier in the week.
