Bongser reads that Rohan Smith has joined his uncle on the dole queue.

"So what difference does it make?" See what Bongser did there :D

Interim coaches until Head is appointed so hopefully still ragtag and bobtail when we attempt our revenge this Friday.

Not seen eauwt from the "Leigh Cheese" yet but others are tarting his name about.

Hi Bongser.
I’m expecting a show of desire and energy from Leeds to begin with. They will want to show as players that they are worthy of there.
They will also be wanting to put on a strong display to best remember Rod Burrow in a way he would have loved. Playing and winning a rugby game.
That said, I believe we have the tools to beat them. It will mean a solid and as error free first 20-30 mins as possible, with the same defensive metal as last week. Keep them pressured and I believe we can see off any early energy and passion, then crack on to a decent win. 8-24 to the good guys for me.
One down side is OBrien likely not playing after his head knock. I’ve seen nothing official but he must be sidelined for this one I’m thinking.

First game was in 1967, and have been hooked since day 1. Now live in Vancouver, Canada but follow our team any way I can.

First person when posting about a death. I as any decent person should have been, was gutted to hear that Rob had finally lost his fight - though it will happen to us all, we hope for later rather than sooner.

He gave up the ghost on the 2nd of June, nearly a fortnight before Leeds surrendered to an abject FC team albeit away from home. Where was the respect then?

Going along with you, I think, should we win the "arm-wrestle" we win comfortably and thereby make amends.

Derek has already said that Leigh will rightly pay their respects to a great player, but thereafter it is gloves off!

I was on corporate tickets with my dad, brother and brother-in-law for the 40th anniversary of Munich game . Nat laid a wreath before kick off. In the 1958 FA Cup Final he'd scored a brace. The rest of the country, for once, was behind what was left of The Babes - but it wasn't for the 13 bob a week that Nat played to win - it was to do his best for his club!

Rob Burrows RIP.

Broken record but we should beat them like we should away beaten them in the home fixture.

Gaz may be out with a head knock but they have 7 out with the same thing, including, I read, Newman and Handley who are always threats.

I'm slightly more bothered about us being too respectful because of the occasion but they are professionals and should get the job done.

I take it Zak was actually a team mate of Rob's? Hopefully he can put in a worthy performance much like his last few which have seen a return to form

Starting with Chambo @ stand off = Criminal
Starting with Davis @ hooker with Ipape & Dwyer on the bench = Criminal
All this when we have been lacking creativity & clinical finishing.
I'm confused.

Absolutely toothless in attack. I have never questioned Lammy's judgement before, but trying to play without one of the spine players is madness. Worse still was thinking that Chambo was the answer, a player who lacks the ability to use his winger when playing centre. Plenty of scoring chances in Leeds' red zone without really looking like penetrating the try line. Agree with Cokey, what was Davis doing starting when there was 2 hookers on the bench?

Aaron Pene looks interesting with his dancing feet and different angled runs. He is more like Mulhern than Amone, which means next season we still need a wrecking ball down the middle of the park.

Leeds are an average team and still they have stolen 4 points from Leigh this season. Last night they posed no threat in attack and still scored whenever they got an opportunity.

Desperately in need of Mulhern, Asiata and O'Brien to return for the Wigan game in 2 weeks time.

Since we recalled Ed from Hull are we really still feeling compelled to play him so as to prove it definitely wasn't just a sulky move after their general arsey behaviour :?

Looked clueless last night , Davis timing was way off with the forward passes and he got away with a couple as well . Halton looking better every week though . We are looking quite weak in the centres .

Just as confused as everyone else with that team selection, I know moylan has been playing well at FB but half way in to the season and we're still tinkering mackintosh must be a better option than chamberlain if not why did we get him, Zak isn't giving Hanley great service so again what's wrong with mackintosh especially when zak can go to FB ,are we looking at Edwin playing 13 next season? We need two firing hookers at the minute before we start that experiment
