Never expected that one. Thought he would definitely stay with Leigh. 3 year contract on big money. Good luck, John and thanks for everything.

I imagine that there are two elements to this. First being we probably only offered a 2 year deal. Second being Hull know that they will be in SL for the forseeable, we'll have to wait until the end of October to know if we'll be in SL next season.

Can't blame him for wanting 3 years on big money at 31yrs old. Good old IMG. Wonder if we will lose anymore to guaranteed SL teams. I can see Hanley moving to 13 at some stage. Maybe that's how the club see it too. He's strong, elusive and will bulk out more yet.

As a Hull fan this obviously proves the rumours that big investment is coming to the club. He is a statement signing for sure. However, it also proves the mis-management of the cap that we currently have, with Tuimavave rumoured to be on a similar salary currently and with him leaving at the end of the year, we get Asiata on similar money

Great statement of intent and sure to make other captures easier to get over the line. Wonder if Myler has rung two wingers in France yet?

In the future when he'sbulked out, I can see Hanley at 13. Maybe Brogan in the future. Haven't seen him play but I've heard he's an excellent ball playing forward and a Leigh lad. Should imagine we will get an experienced 13 for 2025. I'm confident with Lammy staying and DB, the squad will only get stronger. Exciting times ahead for Leigh.

Anyone heard anything about Mulhern, we’d have to agree the sale, contract until 2026, so would hope he’d be a sure in for next season
