\ Bearing in mind Col, the LLS & all the presentation equipment was there at the LSV, and yet it might have been needed at Saints, or Salford. Mmm

Yawn, he’s an emotional guy who wants a fair sport! We all know that officialdom lean to the big names in our sport. Did smell a bit fishy that there was no contingency to transport to other grounds. Salford not that far to go!

I was there when he said it and it needed saying. What other sport would have a ref taking charge of season defining game in which the game he's officiating in includes the Town he was born in? Impartial or not it makes a mockery of the game when you realise the trophy, the dignitaries and the Champions boarding are all there with no contingency plan to move them just in case Wiggin lose. Oh, but the ref from Wiggin disallows a perfectly good Leigh try. Wiggin were never going to be denied that night. The game was rigged! It stinks. DB has the guts to tell them. Good on him. And he's serious about setting up a rival competition. As he said, 3 years from now there will be a different league that will rival SL and the derisory £20million that SKY offer. And it won't have the woke MRP.

It's as though there isn't replica shields made for publicity purposes and things like this. They'll have had the same setup at all three grounds.
When members of the public can have their photo taken with a trophy in their local Morrisons, do you think that is the actual trophy?

If you read the report, you will read that everything was there and the RFL dignitaries were in his box. There was no contingency plan to make the presentation at any other ground should Wiggin lose the match. I know cos I was there and I heard it. So, seeing as a perfectly good try was disallowed, anyone will question the integrity of the sport. Derek also has years of experience seeing what goes on behind closed doors within the game which we aren't privy to.. These aren't idle threats about setting up a rival competition. He means business. He's seeing corruption within the game and he's blown the whistle on them. Congratulations to him. You need bottle to do that. It's so easy to turn a blind eye but that makes you as corrupt as them. One final point. Anything that involves Rupert Murdoch and his family is dodgy.

You are well in tin foil hat territory now.
If the RFL dignitaries were at LSV on Friday, so what? Where do you want them to be - at home? It's not surprising that they are at the most anticipated fixture of the night, where the LS winner is most likely to be presented.
And they did have a contingency plan. It was discussed well before Fridays game. Can you not remember everyone laughing about how the RFL can't afford a helicopter this year? They used replica shields.
Why didn't Derek whistleblow before a decision went against him? Was Leigh's prior success part of this conspiracy, or was it a rant of a sore loser?
It's no secret that the officiating has been sub-standard this year. That's why a controversial decision was made. I think it was the wrong call, but I also think Wigan's disallowed try was harsh too. Even if Leigh's try had stood, I wouldn't have guaranteed them victory.
I can't wait to see Derek try and start his own rogue league. Do you seriously think AB Sundecks is going to be able to bankroll a competition that rivals Super League?
Who is going to join him? It's going to be a great competition with only one team in it, as I can't see any other club cutting ties with the RFL and banishing themselves from the sport. He is living in cloud cuckooland, and I think you've joined him there.
