Sadly Chris has been forced into retirement due to the seriousness of his injury and the issues which followed later with that injury. I would think the coaching staff would have loved him to be available this season. What Derek has done wrong, to which you are suggesting, I have no idea.

It's the club in general over the past 5 or 6 years. When players depart the club at the end of a season, they can't even be @rsed to do a general/overall "thank you & good luck" etc. That will be at the directive of Derek 'the leopard' don't you think ?

We are never sure what goes on behind the scenes. The decision of wether a player leaves or not is down to the coaching staff. I am sure when the one on one talk with said player who is let go is told of the reasons why and thanked and wished all the best for the future at that point. There are lots of other players at other clubs in the same boat which we don’t hear about.
