Every team seems to have a smart, modern kit based on traditional colours and design. Leigh's 1st Team kit looks completely out of place. Anybody else dreading what the away strip will look like?

Wouldn’t have to be a great effort to beat the current serving of the home one which in my opinion is shocking. Some kits do grow on you but I can safely say that wont with me and anyone who dares to wear one deserves all the stick they get

I think the home strip would be marginally better as a Leopard Skin Print, than a photo of an unknown big cat (Leopard, Jaguar???)

The 2nd strip just needs to be something simple that does not clash with Red or White (Wigan, Saints, Salford, Hull KR). I have seen some Televised games were the kits are too similar and it makes the game unwatchable. Possibly the best one in recent years was the Black and Gold. Any gold will probably become Leopard Skin. Think I will keep my mouth shut.

Does it look out of place or does it stand out from the crowd. I believe the kit is all about making a statement. Like it or not (and I am not it’s biggest fan as a rugby shirt), it has created the reaction on social media that it was designed to do. It has put Leigh Leopards on everyone’s tongue and social media platform of choice, where Leigh Centurions never had or ever could. If we want to be a top 6-8 team, ie a playoff regular not just a SL survivor, we need to generate an income from sponsorship and brand recognition, that gives us the financial ability to do it without being reliant on DB being willing to put in the money himself.
I honestly think the shirt is a stroke marketing genius and social media savvy thinking.

First game was in 1967, and have been hooked since day 1. Now live in Vancouver, Canada but follow our team any way I can.

It is what it is and it's time to move on. If you like it, buy it. If not, don't. There are enough oppo fans threatening to buy and wear it for ridicule's sake. Should they follow through on their threats, shirt revenue will not fall by much!

I agree that if people like it they will buy the shirt. I know its a good marketing tool and a good source of revenue but for me its the team that you put in the shirts that matters.
