For me Hobson IS OUR BEST FORWARD THIS SEASON ,,a very good man ,i know he has a temper ,and doesnt like to be tackled ,but i like the guy ,we need a good hard man in the middle,i wish he had a brother ,to many young lads in our pack ,jimmy taylor ,ok at tackling ,but never makes a break ,hope Armistead is back soon we need him.

I agree with the comments on Hobson, apart from the Fev game he has been immense, always sucks in three defenders and has been coming up with some rather neat off loads.
Disagree a bit on JT though, the comments on him not making ground, which was maybe the case lasr season.
I thought up until his injury he has been one of our best attacking forwards, it certainly looked like it was something that he'd been working on...

Hobson has improved, no doubt, he also looks leaner perhaps he's taking a leaf out Timmy Street's book? after years of indiscipline Timmy finally concentrated on his rugby skills sadly, it all came too late in his career although Hull saw the change and gave him a chance!
Perhaps Hobson will now do the same, who knows? its

Definitely lost some poundage since last season thats for sure.
From what I've heard and seen he's run the ball better than everyone else this season and was harshly sent off at Fev which was rightly announced that he had no case to answer.
Go Hobbo!
..... and I'll be standing in the Hilton Park stand, yes that's right I've named the North Stand myself

What changed my opinion was his response to Jamie at the Swinton game. After his outburst following the try he realised he had overreacted and that,ll do for me.
This lad wants to be on the winning side. You can,t ask for more than that.

I also think Hobbo has improved regards penalties he is certainly working hard .We do look a small side bulk wise towards other teams apart from Hobbo and Armistead and Hobbo even looks small to some forwards ie Haven and Sheffield ,the guy on the wing for the Eagles was bigger than our forwards
