i feel really really sorry for mcrea and simms, truly gutted for them.

I wouldn't use Cas as a mark of being beaten by a bad team. Cas will be very near the top this year and rightly so. Their type of game shows that they have got a tight squad of players. The only thing that will go against them is depth. I dont think they could cover a few casualties, but that goes for everyone.
