Although not there in person but listening via Radio Manchester.......It looks like our defence is improving dramatically, top performance from the lads in keeping a team down to 2 tries when down to 11/12 men.
Looking forward to the opinions of fans who actually went........
How is education supposed to make me feel smarter? Besides, every time I learn something new, it pushes some old stuff out of my brain. Remember when I took that home winemaking course, and I forgot how to drive?

cracking defensive display from you lot. Difficult to break down even with 12 men.
The sending off was just in front of me and TBH deserved the red. A bad one right round the temple - he didn't miss!
But the ref????? Can we have him every week? He was sheeeite! The penalty count for a change was disproportionately in our favour. It's normally our discipline that costs us badly. He certained caned Leigh tonight big time. many of us were complaining that he was spoiling the flow of the game by constant blowing for "fringe" offenses particularly when we had the ball in promising positions anyway! Not the best ref - certainly not for Leigh tonight!
Leigh looked good. Defensively excellent and if we play anything like that at your gaffe I can't see us coming away wi owt.
Good to see so many of you coming over. Good craic an all that.
Just for the chap on the railway end 1st half who kept calling Harris "a thick yorkshire git"! He was born in, errr - Lancashire!!!!
Crack on - see you at your gaffe.
She carries on through it all......

Made the effort whilst heading home tonight, well worth it.
Fantastic defence, team spirit in abundance and very proud of all bar Hobson. If he did lead with the elbow I would drag him in and sack him.
I would like to see the incident that took Stanton out first half, hope his Jaw/Cheekbone is not broken.
Ref was reffed by Harris, our defence killed him all night and to think they only scored when we had 11, then right at the death we nearly pinched it.
Durbin at 9 is a masterstroke. One very proud fan tonight, and I cant recall saying that for a while.
The pride in the shirt was there for all to see tonight. Top defensive performance. Agressive and determined and there two tries both came when we were down to 11 men for 10 minutes. Lost because of Hobson IMO don't know what he was playing at but he should be ashamed of himself. Also don't know for certain but did Cookson make a single drive in his first 20 minute spell? Don't know if anybody could confirm that but if correct that is shocking for a prop forward.
Overall very pleased with the pride and passion from the lads and annoyed about the clown in the middle. Still a belting game though!

Well the Fev lad has said it all really.
Our defence was oustanding and both their tries came when we had only 11 men on the field.
Hobson was dismissed and rightly so a couple of minutes into the second half and then Stewart was yellow carded just about 10 minutes later.
We played some good stuff despite losing Armistead and Stanton in the first half.
I won,t comment on the referee because I would be accused of lying and I am sure other people and any neutrals will be able to put it more eloquently than I. But I will content myself with saying I have never been at a match where the decisions have been incomprehensible even to the recipients of such largesse. This ref will be making a name for himself soon. Maybe he was one of those bankers responsible for those unbelievable losses British Banking managed to run up last year.He can,t still be employed as a banker can he ?
To close 100 % effort from our team and a match where we were undoubtably the better side.
NK didn,t seem to happy when he had words with him as the ref left the pitch.
Leigh looked very good tonight, Rovers had great difficulty breaking them down, i dont know if the sending off made a difference or not some times teams dig in more. But i would be more pleased if i was the Leigh coach to be honest, Rovers looked a bit clueless at times, but i suppose a wins a win
