Solid pack, halves went well and some genuine pace in the back line. Durbin will prove to be a great acquisition at NL level. Granted, the opposition wasn't the best, however Leigh scored some excellent tries today and a promising start to the season.
Skolars 5 Aggrey was a real handful, strong, pretty quick and took his try well.

Durbin was good today. Very lively around the play the ball and never stopped trying to play a part in the game.
We applied ourselves for 80 minutes today. We showed enthusiasm, application and some talent.
Some of the tries today were gifted, but a lot weren't. We showed spirit and understanding, and there were a lot of positive signs.
Bring on the sterner tests!

All in all a good performance, but the passing was a little lax at times. Well get a better idea as to how good we are when we play Fev. I thought that the Skolars no 5 was the pick for them, quite impressed with him.
Rugby League is folklore. What captures our imagination is not simply the winning or the losing, it's the stories. The stories of perseverance, of sheer will, of hard work, of heartbreak, of miracles, and of triumph and tragedy.
