Just in case you can't see past the pay-wall “We’re currently in talks. I’m constantly talking with Chezzy (director of rugby Chris Chester) and the club,” said ex-Samoa international Leutele.
“The good thing is the club want me and I want to stay so we’ve just got to work out the finer details of it all and hopefully get it over the line some time soon.”
It seems strange that there's been no response to this, regarding some posters, who seemed keen on challenging me in not wanting a winger, and saying it wasn't a priority when i posted a suggestion regarding Ravalawa.

I still think we need a prop, second row and loose forward more than we need a winger

Totally agree Leythig. We need to replace Tom Amone, Kai O’Donnell and John Asiata who are widely regarded as the best in their position in Super league. If the five year plan is to improve the squad year on year then we need replacements of a quality likely take up quota and significant cap before splashing out on a winger.

You was meant to respond to the Leopards interest on the Sivo post.

I was agreeing with the point made by Leythig that there are higher priorities in building the squad than a winger who would take up a quota spot. It is unlikely that any current non quota players of sufficient quality are available to replace Tom Amone, Kai O’Donnell and John Asiata.
The challenge of replacing the above trio with matching quality is probably going to take up our remaining quota and I do not think there is a quota spot available to sign a winger.

I know what you're saying, I'm not thick. You've just simply missed my whole point from the beginning.
I think this season has proved that it is no use just having a very good starting 17, if there is no cover in all positions. Lammy is making up the difference with utility players. In the past, that would mean mediocre players in several different positions.
Personally, I was all for throwing Darnell and Umyla into the team much earlier than Lammy did.
