I would hope that it is as our CEO said - a dispute, then a resolution and then a timing issue with the petition withdrawal. One of the Halifax Directors is a relative of mine and he is the most honourable person i know. Whilst he's there i'm confident that there'll be no financial irregularities. I'll bet there's a lot of clubs walking the financial tightrope though, especially in the recession. Borrowed funds are scarce and backers financial assets (other businesses/investments) will be feeling the strain. It is tempting to scoff at other clubs' troubles but the game is too small for us all not to have a sense of solidarity. Whatever trolling and back biting goes on within these forums i think for the good of the game no-one should wish ill on the survival of any club.

hope fax get over their financial problems as the league would be better for it so good luck halifax i am sure leigh will bring far more supporters this year and the way we played this last season was the reason for our poor away following

Thanks for your sentiments. Fax aren't in any financial trouble as per our CEO's comments. Faxs name should never have been on the list.
