no not really like I said the signalling was cr*p and I was too far away and on the wrong side to see properly plus I was on long shot on the video camera and bodies were in the way so it could well have been Knock on.

And I don't know for sure, I wasn't there nor have I had the benefit of seeing it on DVD, just going off what I think was said on the radio, :)

And the only thing I remember for sure is I've been wrong before

didnt look like knock on to me as higgy took a few of there players over the line with him.maybe when higgy put ball down over line the ref[if you can call him 1] thought he had lost it when he got up n ball was not in his hands? after his reffin last night who knows stranger things happened last night

I thought he must have lost it over the line quite honestly but that was because I couldn,t see it properly due to a Fev player blocking my view and the "ref" pointing to the 20 metre line for the tap. To be fair the ref was nearer than me.

A Cas fan nearer to the incident said to a few of us that he KNEW it was a try. Course it doesn,t matter what any of us thought.

Just something we,ll have to put up with of course but the fact is despite what we thought of the refereeing, what was going through Hobsons head to get sent off and the many decisions that went against us the team put in a great performance.

To lose with only 4 in all the circumstances means I think we are in for a very entertaining season with a League finish which will surprise most,me included.

And there's the rub Frank. We've all been stiffed by a bad ref. It's not the first time it's happened to Leigh (or Fev) and it won't be the last.
But your defensive line was inspiring to say the least.
Notwithstanding the refs performance for just a sec - Neil Kelly now has to address the discipline of his players. Instead of ranting at the ref (which I'm told he did throughout), if Hobson could retract his moment of madness and the holding down was addressed (regardless of whether Fev did this or not), the game would have been Leigh's - of that I've no doubt!

ie regardless of the ref - if the discipline had been good - Leigh would have won!!!!!

Those who've used these fora for some years will know that I've a soft spot for Leigh. Always have had. Mining town, lived in the shadow of more illustrious neighbours who have annoyed the he_ll out of the establishment by actually winning stuff when allowed to compete on equal terms etc etc.
and I always enjoy my visit over there.

Crack on eh!
