SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

I doubt the majority of walkers/donors expected that this would be how the money would be spent. It makes logical sense perhaps to use the money to sign him up - but cannot help thinking its a bit anticlimactic (no offence to the lad)
Legally its a new signing - but it doesn't feel like that.

I knew this would happen , but quite simply it is down to the club where they allocate the money , LISA say here's 6 grand , use it to help sign a player , club says thanks we'll sign player ' X ' with it
End of story

I don't understand what it matters? If you support leigh and we sign players who care who pays for who?
Perhaps the club should announce that Littlers contract has now been paid for by LISA just to keep some happy and Ant Nics has been paid from elsewhere

If LISA are helping out to the tune of £6100 towards Anthony Nicholson, this surely frees up £6100 to be used how the club wants towards someone else. Its all down to words and how you take them. I think there has been a little bit of an over reaction to this.
2015 - major missed opportunity, 2016 - stronger teams = harder task (no problem there then), 2017 - OMG What now!!!

You couldn't be further from the truth
Look back at this thread , you cocked up your quote , nobody understood what you meant , they did not reply to you , but you took it upon yourself to abuse somebody that you thought had replied to YOU
You either support the club or you dont , the walk was to raise extra money to sign a player , without this money the Chairman puts even more money in , to attempt to keep the team competitive
As I said if you are really that upset about it , then I'll happily give you the money back
Otherwise , shut up

Chill out and ask yourself what difference does it make? if theres a pot of money from fans, sponsors, the Chairman whoever and all that money goes towards players who cares whose pound paid for which player it all goes to the same end! You cannot disagree with that surely.

Will that do ?
Now over to you for my arrogance ?
And as I pointed out , the walk raised a certain amount of money , that money was raised under the LISA banner at the request of the person who originally came up with the idea [ Tipster Ste ] , that money was then put at the disposal of the club [ which is who the money was raised for ] , they then decide to allocate that money as they see fit , if you have a problem , ring Ian Millward or Alan Rowley at the club
