Lets not forget that this team was absolutely head and shoulders above the rest of the NRL last year. The year before that, I have to say I watched some pretty boring stuff., not all but some.

| Aussie ref, aussie rules IMO, we need to be singing from the same hymn sheet. The aussies play a game that incorporates a lot of wrestling style work on the floor, and to us who watch super league every week, this seems to be deliberate slowing of the game. I believe mr robinson had major problems with consistency, although it was great to see leeds get a taste of their own medicine.  Watmough was the only player of outstanding ability on that team, a second rower standing at 5' 11", 15st on the dot (what i'd like to call an angry build, lol) and with such explosive pace through the holes, fair enought the ball he took to score was a mile forward, but its still a great skill. Other than him, Manly looked to be a solid, mistake free unit. | | | |

Got to say I agree about Whatmough. I went to the game and was stunned by his turn of speed for a forward. All in all ( and I think most leeds fans would agree) the scoreline flattered them. Last time I was at Elland Rd was for Tri nations final few years ago when we got stuffed. I think i may give Elland rd a miss for a while as my last two visits there have been quite sobering! | | | |
