Ronnie Pickering is probably a better enforcer than Barlow and Bailey put together.

Would be a decisive one ryan Bailey. Would not help with the dirty thug tag we currently have, and for me I don't see it. However he is 30, played over 300 games for Leeds, has 6 grand final wins, two league leaders Shields, 3world club challenges, 1 challenge cup, 4 great bBritain caps and 4 England caps. He must therefore have something, although hasn't done much this, signed for hull KR, played 1 match then left for Castleford where he didn't feature much either.

I had formed a very definite (negative) opinion of Ryan Bailey, based on two factors:-
(1) His age. I thought he was much older than 30. But I checked up, and he was born on 11.11.84. So, he would only be 31 at the start of next season. That's not old for a prop forward.
(2) His disciplinary record. He has been 'referred' about 51 times, since the beginning of the 2008 season. However, he has only been suspended 3 times, for a total of 5 matches, in that period - not at all a bad record for a prop in our sport. (Source - RFL Disciplinary website)
Conclusion:- I guess, as with any signings we make, I will judge them on what they do while wearing the Leigh shirt, and not what has gone on at any previous clubs.

How is education supposed to make me feel smarter? Besides, every time I learn something new, it pushes some old stuff out of my brain. Remember when I took that home winemaking course, and I forgot how to drive?
