Salford did what they do, score in quick succession and take the game away from us and we could never get back.
I like Reynolds, he has got better but if he can't convert from the touchlines then unless Mellor is not fit, why play him instead? Again that was summed up as he was about to take his penultimate conversion attempt and Inu ran past...if only.
Holmes is yet to impress, though I think he had a better second half. The whole team did.
And Josh proved not only is he as fast and strong as ever but his rugby brain is kicking on too.
We need to recruit well in the next window.
Still, O'Brien back next week a more settled team and hopefully we will turn over Wakefield.
Some real dumb rugby there, both in attack and defence
Holmes’s does a job for me, 80 mins today believe - if your going to single anybody out go for Hughes, just throwing money down the drain with him
Mellor gotta be given a chance if fit, and Smith (remember him) is a good foil for ipape who finally showed in offence what he’s capable of but can’t do 70 mins like that week in week out
Should have won that, with pretty much 14 men - O’Brien will be a massive plus if fit, Hardaker played well today but doesn’t give that option in attack
