Can't see what Quinlan would add to the team, no better than McNally/ Hampshire at FB for me - a centre would be priority for me to allow Brown to get a run at 1

Carney is an interesting one, been quality but not really too sure on him at the moment- also would he not be on quota

Can't see the point myself about Todd,he's played what 5 mins for Salford.Sort of contradicts whats happened with Riddy unless its with a view to next season.

We would just be repeating what we have done before - taking players whose best rugby is behind them.

We should be looking at younger players who the coaching staff can work with in time for the middle 8s.

IMO Crooks, Acton and to some extent Hampshire have all improved under the coaching team in a very tough season so far.

Quinlan is only 24,it's quota spots for me..Either some quota spots have become expendable or the view is to next season. We don't know what is going on behind the scenes,could be a few conversations going on,possibly one is with Brown,who knows?

We do know we are struggling in the three quarters,but no centres available,I'd be tempted to inquire about Justin Carney before Todd or Quinlan. The difference being Justin can play Centre.
