An Aussie commentator and pundit (Andrew “Vossie” Voss) making what even he calls a crystal ball gazing comment on a show. No smoke without fire…..? Unless the smoke is in the crystal ball of a morning show rugby pundit.
First game was in 1967, and have been hooked since day 1. Now live in Vancouver, Canada but follow our team any way I can. “Up The Comics !”
The way he was talking, he made it sound as though the chairman of South’s was travelling over to find a coach. He was already in the uk before they made the decision to sack the coach. He travels a lot for business, so I think he’s putting two and two together and making five. Bennett will go there, he’s the only one that could deal with some of their players.
Well, Lammy's put that rumour to bed. He is staying at Leigh and wants to see the 5 year plan through. He is expecting his contract to be sorted in next few weeks. He loves it at Leigh. He is a man of his word. Not many of them about. Thanks, Lammy.
Lam, however, is firmly focused on his career at Leigh. “I’ve not had a phone call with them (Souths) at all. What I do know is that I love this club here at the moment,” Lam said. “Where we have taken it to over the last two-and-a-half years has been incredible and I’ve enjoyed every moment of it. “I’ve mentioned before that there is a five-year plan that we have here at the club, and it’s on track for where it needs to be, so my focus is solely here. “If something comes up from that way – as any normal person would do and as a business – you look at what the opportunity is and then make decisions moving forward from there. “But I know that my heart is here at the moment, it’s been an amazing journey so far and long may that continue.
Hopefully any persisting rumours will be put to bed for good when Lammy signs his new contract.
By the way, does anyone here remember the rubbish spouted by some Leigh fans (some of it here) when Lam signed - all that rubbish about us not wanting him because he had come from The Pies - utter, utter tosh. The man has been our best signing and long may he continue at the helm of our great club.
