A win is a win I suppose. But it was pretty poor in the most part. Things looked better once Lam came on, and McNamara who had struggled in the halves moved to 9. But then they switched off again for the last 10 minutes.
Have serious question marks about Halton, particularly in defence, two very poor missed tackles in the lead up to Fev's third try, and Hardaker will be disappointed with his effort in the third try.
Hopefully things will improve against Salford, with (hopefully) Dwyer, O'Brien and Lam back in the starting 13, but we are dropping off far too many tackles at the moment. We missed a lot against Hull as well, they were just too rubbish to capitalise.

Bongser does not point fingers at any individuals, but it has to be agreed that the tackling on Saturday was poor to woeful. Anyone thinking that comment harsh did not see the heroics of (most) of last season and that was the thing that was most concerning. Yes, Cry Baby Wellens has got his way ($urprise, $urprise) and all teams are struggling to adapt. But, still....
