Another wrong ref and more importantly video ref call (no excuse for that) won Leeds the game today. I don’t blame Thaler but I do question Liam Moore. The scorer of the last try, Smith, is clearly offside at the kick, is within the 10 at the contest for the ball in the air, and then is the one who gathers and scores.
Liam Moore (video ref) actually says at the point of the kick, “they are all on side to the left so we can carry on” but totally ignores the right side where Smith is clearly offside.
I have no problem with the video ref process, I believe it is a positive addition to difficult and game changing calls, but we are seeing some clear errors from the officials when applying it unfortunately.

First game was in 1967, and have been hooked since day 1. Now live in Vancouver, Canada but follow our team any way I can.

Happy Easter, Vanners (and all Leythers). Didn't see today's game (Easter visit to see Ol' Ma B) so my only comment would be that it's interesting to see Liam Magoo's name mentioned again!!

Furthermore, was in the straps yesterday afternoon so am yet to see the full Leopards match. Two more days off, so please expect a blither coming soon to a log cabin near you. :D

Happy Easter Bongser. The little VL’s (one of which is 6’3” ) are chowing down on UK bought Cadburys Easter Eggs from my Feb visit. So is Mrs VL. Unfortunately I forgot to get myself one and I’m suffering with Canadian chocolate. The Easter Bunny just doesn’t make it to the same recipe over here. When you do get to watch the Leyth game, try to look past the reffing and you will see that we clearly still could and should have won. Frustration on top of the ref frustration, but actually for me a positive, because we are at least good enough and fit enough, we just need better game management. I think we have that in us and the right setup to bring it out.
We will be better ahead and win the next three I believe.
Happy Easter Leythers.
