Wakey will come up, be amazed if they don’t, London obviously are out. I don’t think Cas will go down, Jepson coming in will have improved their score financially and they will have made improvements elsewhere I’m sure. Toulouse are probably the next club best placed to come in, but I’m not sure it’s good to have two French clubs in a 12 team SL when they bring in no TV revenue. Two French teams in a 14 team SL (with them covering travel costs if there is no French tv deal) I can get on board with, and I think would be great for the game - but we need an increase in broadcaster income to move to 14 clubs.
I always hoped Newcastle would make the grade, but they seem to have fell away somewhat. Also think London would be a good move, but I think they would need to be centrally funded, in a similar way to the Melbourne storm were.

The Wakefield Wildcats were clearly given the nod prior to this season that they would be in SL for 2025. Tom Johnstone and Mike McMeeken never signed on early doors for them to play in the Championship. They also recently released 9 players too
