With players in theory hitting the open market today, who would you be looking to retain?
I would assume some of these players already have deals in place just not announced by the club.....
Looks like Drinkwater is on his way and Russell is being courted by Wakefield, Gil Dudson will obviously not be renewed.
On the right deal I'd be happy to see Ratchford retained, still seems really fit and doesn't seem to be breaking down often as you see with some older players - good utility value I think?
I'd take up the option on all the younger players, and look to tie down Hayes, Holroyd & possibly Wood for longer. Not sure on Bruines as haven't seen him pick up a ball yet. Tai I would probably retain unless we have a centre lined up to come in.
Not sure on Whitehead, only a year younger than Wrench but hasn't really troubled the first team yet?
Further ahead I'd be looking to get deals done for Wrench & Nicholson

Nicholson deal has been done hasn’t it? Well according to Abe. Ratchford, Bruines, Drinkwater, Russell, Dudson, Tai to go (Lafai would be a nice replacement)

That would be very harsh on Bruines. He has not had a chance yet recovering from hamstring problems.

Keep Ratchford ( full 180 for me, i said don't keep him when we gave him 2 years, I now say he's better to have around the club), Tai looks a little disjointed on the time's I've seen him but let's see how he goes when he gets the chance, doubt he's getting poached.
Can't comment on Bruines, doubt he's on a packet mind.
