It seems there is general agreement that he has been a revelation in the first 3 games. His running seems more direct at the line and appears to be putting his body on the line far more than in the last few seasons. His pass to Thewlis for the try was absolute class and worthy of an international centre.
May be down to his move to loose, but I suspect he has a coach who he is trying to impress in Burgess. whatever the reason if he keeps it up it will be like having a new signing

Just my opinions unless it's a FACT, in which case it's a fact.

Once Nicholson is fit, he might replace Holroyd rather than go to loose. But I'm sure I read somewhere that Nicholson played most of his academy games at loose and that was his best position. A nice quandary to have.

Looks to me like Burgess places his emphasis on players revolving around a structure so he'll value the likes of Currie who can more around different roles (last night I think he essentially played loose, SR and centre throughout the game). Currie was excellent is all positions. By the same argument I thought the old man Ratchford was good against Cas, and may still have a significant role this season.

I’m a big Currie fan, and always thought he’d be the ideal loose forward.

I suspect he's having a significant role on and off the field already.
