So one thing I again noticed at the game today, the issues with scoreboard, clock and big screen.

It just makes it look so amateur.

As for the game mixed bag some moments of class some real poor defensive lapses, and a poor call from VR and some poor misses for forward passes from touch judges.

It was 29c in the shade yesterday and a whole lot hotter under the sun.
If you’ve every tried to use a smart phone after being in the sun for a short time, you may understand why there could have been electrical issues with the smart screen.

Not saying it was that, but it very likely was.

The heat affected the referee too, with him giving a forward pass by Naiqama late on that blatantly wasn't forward. That could have won the game for the Giants.

(Rumours he gave it to make amends after missing a blatantly forward pass for the try before it cannot be substantiated at this time)

Although Naiqama was tackled.

Since Saddened follows a club where the wingers are more properly referred to as wide receivers, I will have to bow to his greater experience of blatant forward passes.

The scoreboard has been broken since the pre-season game v crusaders...that's why we're now "WIRE" on the scoreboard as opposed to "THE WIRE" like we have been for past seasons. I'm a south stander and always look to see if it's been fixed. I'm expecting it'll be like this until the end of the season

I don't think the "teams " have been displayed on the scoreboard all season. We used to be able to look up & see who was turning out.

I saw it say WIRE. I liked it. Thought it was supposed to be like that.
