Although it's always a warm feeling coming away from Headingley with the spoils, my guess FWIW is that this was a game where Channel 4 were probably happier than Powell and for that matter definitely happier than Agar.
a) Score and Winning team: Leeds 20 v 22 Warrington b) First try (Wire player): Widdop c) Time of first try: 12 mins d) Last try (any team, player not time): Wrench e) Kicks over the sticks (combined): 7 kicks f) Attendance (500 margin) 14,135 (13,885 - 14,385)

A bit of Nellie Pledge for those of a certain age as 'Our Walter' came out on top this week with an aptly named Bakers Dozen the rest of us were in a pickle as follows

Well a wins a win I suppose and if it wasn't for the last minute antics of old ' Hollaback Girl' himself the margin might have seemed more predictable.

This week's winner is forum almanac MorePlaymakersNeeded with handy 15points who no doubt would remind that today in 1983 it was Ronald Reagan's first reported use of the term "Evil Empire" about you know where. I couldn’t get my prediction in. There was some bug that wouldn’t let me post. It cleared after the wire game. Still other than predicting Huddersfield correctly and a a big win for cats, prediction was pants. Although I could argue I got the first wire try scorer correct as I wasn’t able to enter a name!!!

RD this bears no resemblance to the Prediction that I marked. You predicted a Wire win by 9 and got 2pts for 5 kicks plus 1pt each for Wakefield, Huddersfield (which wasn't correct) and Catalans (which was a win bigger than the 7 you predicted).
