JON WILKIN blasted "childish" Leeds ace Ryan Bailey as the dust settled on St Helens' fifth straight Grand Final defeat. The second-rower was furious at how the prop, 27, rammed the Rhinos' win down their throats.
Wilkin, 27, said: "I'm embarrassed for him as a human being, not just a rugby league player.
"There are ways to win and a way to conduct yourself. He celebrates, he whoops, he squares up to our younger lads.
"I've never seen such a child play a man's game in my life.
"I don't think I'll be the first to say the way he does it is petulant. He's like a child, he's been doing it for years.
"From what I've learned as a professional sportsman, you conduct yourself in a way so that people respect you. I don't have any respect for him.
"Look at the likes of Kevin Sinfield, Danny Buderus, Rob Burrow and Danny McGuire, who conduct themselves with the utmost professionalism at all times.
"I know they are disappointed with the way he behaves.
"I've a lot of respect for Leeds — 16 of their players were the most gracious people in victory."
i think every word he says is true i was over the moon when lee radford uppercutted him ............taken from the sun

Well said Jon Wilkin. They guy acted like a numpty at the end of the semi-final at the HJ, he has no class or dignity. No place for it in our sport.
Tony Smith: "I thought the fans really made the difference on Sunday. At times I looked at the South Stand and thought WOW those guys are rocking in there, I like that."
dont think anyone could put it better and most probably every player would agree with it, the guy is an absalout pleb, when watching him playing against saints in past games and him and graeme are beefing id pray that graeme would deck him.

Just when you think it couldn't get any worse.

i was at the grand final in the saints end and every time bailey was walking back for the kick off he was just staring at the saints fans winding them up a real bad player for our sport lets the leeds team down with his attitude and theres nothing hard about squaring up towards jonny lomax i would put a cheeky bet on lomax to knock him out with his speed haha

While the rest of his team mates celebrated at the HJS he taunted the fans in the East Stand. He's really brave when he's on the pitch and protected by stewards. I hope he gets his comeuppance one day.
