This would be a tough game anyway, but coming after the physical and emotional demands of Friday and with one eye on the Saints game I see this as one of the toughest games of the season. One that we would do very well to win.

Want be surprised to see a few players rested for this one

The Wire - It's Time To Believe

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will.
When the road you're trudging seems all up hill,
When the funds are low, and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.

Life is queer with the twists and turns,
AS everyone of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about,
When he might have won had he stuck it out:
Don't give up through the pace seems slow.
You may succeed with another blow.

Success is failure turned inside out,
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit,
It's when things seem worse,
that you must not quit.
NOW THE WIRE!

I think we'll win. As said though there will be a few players rested for this one with Saints after it. Consistency is what Che brings.

I don't think we put as much in as we all think to be honest. It was cooler, so fatigue wise won't have taken as much out of the body and also very few sets defensively we're completed, I think Wigan were 42% in the 2nd half, so in effect it saved you from 58% of tackling, so you got off lightly. Given our dropped ball in the first half,it could have been really bad had Wigan rammed it home for 80 mins.

I know we put alot in (tackle by tackle) to dislodge the ball etc but I'm not sure it was as bad as we think. Hopefully they'll go early this week, do some warm weather training, hydro etc, and we'll be cool.

If TS wants us to finish top then there can be very few players rested as although this is a tough game its one that we need to win to overhaul Wigan. Team selection may give an indication of the aims of the staff. Then again, what do i know. TS might send the reserve team out and they might win by 50 points to put a huge hole in that points diff ...lol

Mummy duck is now thoroughly depressed. SHE was the one that was famous for losing five in a row........until the 2011 GF!!!!!

Did we come through the Wigan game with a clean bill of health? It looked like it to me...

To be honest i dont like the timing of this match, two weeks before the Semi. I'v not been a big fan of Catalans style of play this year , they seem to of turned into a dirty and at times nasty team team, so i'd take Monas out of this game. Catalan will still be looking at the Semi as the main focus of there season and if they can get Monas out of that match they know they stand a better chance of turning us over at widnes than they would with monas starting in the semi... Rest him for this one then let him rip saints apart the week after ..

After seeing some of the pictures I think some of the players had more of a physical challenge at Woodys ladies night.
