Hi All

There is a shopping trolly set up in ASDA Cockhedge (also in Widnes and going into Runcorn & St Helens) for people to donate items to be packed into shoeboxes and sent to the troops currently serving in Afghanistan with 1 Mercian Regiment. So far there have been over 40 boxes filled with items of toiletries, sweets, biscuits and so on. All items which are appreciated by the young men and women of this country over there. If you are shopping in ASDA over the weekend please look at the list of items on the trolly and drop an extra roll-on deoderant, shower gel or packet of noodles into your shopping and let us send them out to the troops.

Great cause. I do one every year and always write a little letter to the troops. I get replies too!
