I bought an 18 month old Avensis from Motorpoint. Great value less than half price of a new model.

He doesn't want a car you fools he wants a mechanic to assess the vehicle too see if it's cosher.

Both Incorrect, building a website for the old mans business and want to make sure I target the keywords correctly.

Yes sat and discussed it but unsure what man in the street would look for if anything at all. Local Garage, Mechanic, Car Check, Vehicle Inspection??

Depends see, if you're just trying to impress the Mrs, do what I do.

A full 360 around the car, sometimes backing away to get a full panoramic, but eye contact never leaving the car. Put your hand on the car, sort of around the boot and walk, your hand will gloss across the bodywork and sort of pull a knowing face, (not disimilar to what Robbie Williams does, when performing, like an upside down smile), keep walking, kick the tyres, that's always a good one. Then to finish, get down to ground zero, on the floor, and come up, pull your slacks up and say something like "Yup, looks pretty good, it's got a new exhaust, new stuffer expander, It's in good nick underneath like."

When it breaks down within weeks, and you're asked why you didn't spot it, just say "I don't know anything about cars.".

I got a 11 month old Corsa from there in January and agree about it being great value.

As for the initial question I would probably search for "vehicle inspection <area>"
