If theres one thing the last 6 months has taught me it's that he knows what he's doing despite appearances sometimes being to the contrary (Mathers signing etc)... I reckon he's just sending a message to the squad. By honouring a prior engagement he's saying "Business as usual, this is a week like any other, pressure? What pressure?"
