Has anybody else had the dud pound coins passed to them?
They appear to be lead, stamped like a pound and sprayed.
The spray starts to come off.
Drop one on the floor and it land like a piece of lead, unlike a genuine pound, and machines won't accept them.
Any news?

There was a thing on TV a little while back that I think claimed that 1 in 20 pound coins in circulation are fake. They can usually be told from the genuine because the queens head is not the same way up as the reverse side (if that makes sense!).
