"It’s been stop, start this season so I just want to get a run of consecutive games now and develop a bit of consistency in my performances. "

Careful Lee, some of the forum users won't like you admitting to the the truth.

I think they'll like it.

I was more thinking of our very own Briers is God fan club.

Watch what your saying Sarah, they'll surround you like a pack of hungry lions at the last supper if you even dare to mention the Briers name in a bad light.

They should steer clear of me at games then...

Some knowledgeable, heavy-weight debating going on here.

Were there lions at the last supper? I just thought it was Jesus, his disciples and that horrid Judas fella. Mind you, I didn't take Theology at GCSE.

Jamie, people are allowed to disagree with you and you are allowed to disagree with them. The reason lots of people do it when you talk about Briers is because you are so one eyed in your view of him it's untrue. Yes, he has his faults. Yes, he can be inconsistent. But he has also been one of, if not the, most important players for Warrington for the best part of a decade.

Anyone who can't even acknowledge that Briers has made a positive contribution to our club is either thick, biased or medically insane.

This is the misconception that a lot of people seem to have, when i say anything good about him it's often forgotten about and people dwell on the bad things Ive said, of course he's made a positive contribution and his commitment to the club over the years deserves recognition and respect.

I still feel that there are a lot better players knocking around in his position, people bang on about his kicking game which without being one eyed, a bigot or any other word you wish to use, is so hit and miss it's untrue, watching Boots'N'All last night Stefan Ratchford's kicking game for Salford was outstanding, split the full back and wing man all most every time, good distance and always turned the man around, that's a good kicking game, putting the ball into the hand of the FB is'nt and on most occasions this is what Briers does (watch the Wigan game again).

When he plays he does indeed have an effect on the players around him, i have no idea why this is but i don't feel this is because he's a quality player and we need to learn to be without him if that is the case.

If you watch the Wigan game again you will also notice or in your case may not notice that he put the ball into the hand of our winger from one of his kicks which led to the try that ultimately turned the game!
