Thought we lost to KR due to our indicipline. We gave away silly penalties in areas where we where punished. Our kicking game was poor ( even though we have had a week to practice without LB).
All that aside if you were watching the game for the first time you would not be able to state the gulf between both teams in the table. We must now regroup and continue to work hard in anticipation of Feav on Suday.

On the whole Wire played quite well. Kicking game was poor, and it was a shame to have lost so much shape in the backs due to the reshuffle. However, we looked dangerous with the ball and generally caused KR more problems than they posed for us. We needed more possession, especially in the second half, and we didn't get it, especially with good field position. Still need to work on one-on-one defense, though, as our tries came from running around and into holes in the KR defense, where several of theirs came (notably Galea's ) from running through our defenders.

Fully agreed our indiscipline was punished last night. Grix did well at centre. Monas tried to take control of everything in the first half. Losing Woody prior to KO also reduced the impact from the bench slightly.
Two shocking decisions went against us when Matty Blythe got tackled head high and Silverwood classed the advantage the next drive after the off load when it should have been a penalty when we didn't score.
And the other one was when he adjudged either Rauhihi or Westwood knocked on when clearly Rau pushed the ball backwards and Benny kicked the ball forward but still we got pulled up for a knock on.

I thought we lost because we had too many players out and at SL level the team with the most of its strongest 17 on the pitch usually win.
We lost it in the forwards imo, with Wood ,Morley and Anderson missing out of the forwards we had a poor platform to attack with.I thought KR were average at best we were below average due to our lack of frontline players if you look at our strongest 17 at the start of the season we were missing Morley,Wood,L.Anderson,Briers,Gleeson,Reardon And Penny was considered a starter so that is 7 missing from 17 which imo is too many !
To be fair, I wouldnt be too worried if I was a Wire fan. You have had 2 good wins and a marginal loss after a good performance against a very good side. Your performing a damn sight better than earlier in the season and well on your way to turning the season around.

Who asked your opinion - we dont need advice from a team on a losing streak
