The work ethic from Quins tonight was excellent, nothing flashy just a clever, structured, do the basics right type of win. A very professional team display, I think they only conceded 3 penalties as well which is very impressive.

I am hopeful we can take a leaf out of Quins in terms of work ethic tomorrow, just doing the basics right and having a good kicking game therefore maintaining Celtic at their end of the field. If we do, I have no doubt we will win comfortably but we must have the right attitude and work for each other.

Tony Smith: "I thought the fans really made the difference on Sunday. At times I looked at the South Stand and thought WOW those guys are rocking in there, I like that."

Chad Randall has, IMO, got the best Rugby Brain in the Super League.

if wire had the work ethic that the quins have they would be genuine contenders. chadd randall top class, there are plenty of good hookers in superleague and he is the best so far this season ps give penny a chance

Did Quins have this same work ethic when getting a hiding from Huddersfield?

I think Harlequins may be looking to take the title from ourselves, as the inconsistent side in SL.

Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

quins fans certainly didn't give the giants any credit for a good win despite hissy fits following our drubbing that it wasn't warrington that were mickey poor.

Quins have been able to put in very workmanlike performances for a while now. They can play the conditions well.
We proved in the first half last week that we can play that way but got a bit giddy / cocky in the second half.
Over the last 14 months we should have had teams dead and buried and shut the game down. We have an inate instinct to throw the ball all over the place which sometimes results in the opposition being let off the hook. Our results show that given that chance most SL teams will take the opportunity to come right back at us.

Just dont give them the opportunity.

Allthough the first half last week did not have spectacular tries and many line breaks, I sort of enjoyed it more. Like an Aussie game, more intense.
If that is the way forward, fine.

agree 100%...after his wayward pass that gifted that lot(wigan) the points he has not let his head drop...very good player always wanting the ball and has a very good kicking game

What I really like I about him is the way he spotted Chris Thorman early in the set of six and sent runners directly at him, forcing him to make four, sometimes five consecutive tackles, then he'd jump from Dummy Half and put a kick in behind him, turning him (and that channel) round, making them bring it out. Next set, same again. Thorman then becomes (more, some would say) innefective in attack because he's blowing out of his 'Arris. Really bright little player, and, as you say, not let his head drop at all. Suppose it's true that what doesn't kill you only serves to make you stronger.

Maybe it's because Hudderfield had a better work ethic then Harlequins?
