Anyone got any early news?

Will any of Vinnie, Clarke, Grix, Gleeson or Reardon be back?

Is Jimmy going to grow a pair of balls and drop King and Monaghan or will Penny be the sacraficial lamb again?

Penny will be the lamb to the slaughter. Monaghan and King get paid far too much to be dropped. Lowes has to look like he's justifying their wages

Jimmy didn't employ King or Monaghan so he doesn't have to justify anything.

What Jimmy needs to do is start getting performances and results before he gets the tin tack. If he goes Monaghan and King will still be picking up their monster pay packets.

Reardon won't be back for ages yet, I don't think dropping King or Monaghan is a good idea either.

I would drop Monaghan from the halves and stick him at hooker with Higham to come on from the bench.

Bridge can then partner Briers in his natural position.

As for King, stick him on the wing but who plays left centre? I think Johnson has seen better days tbh.

I'd like to see Gleeson partnering Hicks on the right and Bridge partnering Johnson the the left.

Alternatively if Reardon is back, I'd probably put Readon outside Bridge and leave Riley at full back.

Penny/King partnership doesn't seem to have really worked - even for most of last year.

With a very fast winger - you need a solid defensive centre.

Take Offiah - couldn't defend to save his life (initially at least) but his inside centre at Widnes was an unsung hero in my opinion (forgot his name now).

And of course when Offiah went to Wigan he had class centres inside him from both an attacking and defensive point of view (was it Miles and Bell?)

Penny
Bridge
Briers
Morley
Monaghan
Carvell
Johnson
Westwood
Anderson the L/Anderson the V

Higham
