I'm no expert on the value of players as currency but surely 1x Gleeson does not equal 1x Goulding and 1x Mathers?

Year one he was pretty devestating IMO.
Since then his form has dipped badly. He's never had pace but what pace he did have is starting to dissapear.

It's a real odd one IMO.

He was regarded as arguably the best centre in the world when he came to us. do i need to say anymore.

seriously, all seemed well in his honeymoon year at wigan also....then we could see past his one trick. It will get frustrating for you guys.

If people over-hyped him then that's not his fault, Martin Gleeson has been possible our best attacking player over the past 4/5 years, he's our most dangerous player, in terms of our backs, he's the closest thing we have to world class, he consistently puts it on a plate for his winger and produces the good more often than not. How you've come to the conclusion that he hasn't performed, I really don't know, he's been very good for us.

Spot on. Although i still wouldn't swap him for the 2 Wigan players in question.
