1 try against Catalans and 1 against Wakefield.
So let me guess this right. Despite conceeding 40 plus points per game, that is okay because we aren't conceding down the left wing? Now bearing in mind the one game Penny did play, albeit threequarters, we conceeded less points against Saints, on their own ground, at which time when Penny left the field the game was quite even.
Are you on another wind-up?
Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

The only thing that needs winding is his neck. Back in.

Got you there. No-one is denying we have had defensive problems, so you can't accuse them of P&B specs. The FACTS are - we have had defensive issues, all over the field. Sometimes it's down to missed tackles, other times it's shooting out of the line, sometimes it's not sliding together and leaving huge holes. All of these problems have occurred at various times in differing areas of the pitch.
To blame all this on Penny and claim they've all been solved because he's not in the team, is a) simplistic b) naive and c) exposing a poor RL knowledge.

The primrose and blue specs are what's causing people to believe players like Penny, Briers and Clarke are world beaters.
For about the 3rd time i have NOT blamed Penny for the TEAMS defencive mishaps, i am however blaming him for the LEFT SIDED DEFENCIVE MISHAPS, will you people read properly.

But as you have mentioned, in his absence we haven't conceded many on the left, which means the problem lies elsewhere.

Right, just so we are clear on this - you have never thought King's positioning to be poor, or Louis Anderson to have shot out of position looking for a big hit, or Monas to be missing due to having done too much tackling earlier in a set or in the middle of the field? You've never, ever seen any of that?

I believe King's positioning was poor due to him having to cover for Penny at the same time, i have seen Louis fly out of the line yes, but in the squad of players that we have Penny is the worst defender.
He isn't that good at defending in the reserves, or is that due to his centre being poor again

I have to aree with you think louis is a great player but does go looking for the big hit and mona s should sometimes realise he is half back now and not hooker anymore since king has been moved to the wing he has been better
