Also Lam, Leutele, Asiata, O’Donnell, Hardaker, Charnley easily get into our side and they’re surrounded by some decent players too. We’ve no right to expect to turn Leigh over especially as our second row and centres are pretty poor and Mikaele offered a lot more than we realised.
I expected that result tonight, be interesting how we respond next week. One thing I’m worried about which has happened over the past 6/7 weeks is that we have weirdly just lost invention in attack when we showed plenty early doors…..there’s no reason that should just disappear.
A good observation. Last 6 games we have scored 93 points. 15.5 pts per game. P6 W3 L3.

We have never won a league game at the Leigh Sports Village.

The SL GF this year will be won, as it has in the last 17 years, by Wigan, Saints or Leeds. Not worth getting animated about.
Bang on with this..bet all 3 years ago to lift the big one and made a tidy profit..not any more cos the odds are bilge..Leeds won't win it it'll be saints or Wigan yet again

If it does turn out to be Saints, then I may very well be done with rugby league as a pastime. Nobody who plays that poorly/inconsistently through a season ought to be champs and if they do happen to win 5 on the trot by some miracle, it makes an absolute joke of the league and also, we'll never hear the end of it from those who think they've had to overcome opposition from the 'powers that be' to get there.
