Yes I agree but I think it would be taking the mick if he was allowed to stay at Wigan on a 2 Season loan, they either buy him or we send him to Widnes or something.

If King is playing as well as the Wigan fans claim, then other Super League clubs will be interested in signing him on a permanent basis or even another loan deal, if a player exchange can`t be sorted
He is still based in Yorkshire so there will be plenty of interest for him over there too.

That's disappointing as he was of the three the clear front row replacement... The other two are not and it's therefore makes more sense to pursue the likes of tanginoa than bringing in one of them
Before the season kicked off I thought that we had one too many props but were light in the second row / outside backs. We then brought in Russell, Minikin has regained some form and Wrench should be back next month (altough I expect that it will take him a while to recover form) - so that's the 3/4s fixed for now.
Losing Mikaele is a blow because he was playing so well but, based on shirt number, he was only going to be cover. If, before the season began, we'd had the chance to swap him for a second rower then we'd probably have been happy to do so. The only reason that we're talking about signing a prop as replacement is because we've had so many injuries and suspensions in that position.

We were never going to sign any of the 3 that Wells mentioned. Salford are struggling financially and in need of a boost, we should be looking to take Dupree off their hands.

This whole 'three players that Jon Wells mentioned' thing is quite puzzling. I wonder where he got those names from. He must have been confident in his information, to have gone on TV and named names. Was it from someone at the club? If so, that seems a strange way of leaking information. If you're happy for those names to be known, why not just talk about them openly, in a press conference? Or maybe it was agents giving Wells the information? Would Wells even have contact with NRL player agents? Most curious.
