Not to offer a case for Myler, but we don’t know what was said. The facts that we do know are that someone at Warrington messed up, and that Burgess barged the DoR of another club in the tunnel in front of the cameras. If that was Wellens, or Peet or literally anyone else we’d be saying how petulant they were. Burgess needs to wear it. He can’t get wound up by little things like that.
I do agree with the sentiment of his point, about using player welfare as a little sticker of achievement when it suits, then taking interchanges away as a sanction for a trivial matter. The RFL can’t have it both ways. But it’s our mess, so we have to take the medicine.
I must sat that Thewlis's swerve impresses me & it is a regular weapon of his to open up defences. Tai looks a pretty solid player & pretty good at delaying his passes to Thewlis.

I would say this is probably the reason he has picked up quite a few head injuries in his short career with us. When he gets a knock he is surely entitled to stay down to recover, but I can't see any 'drama queen' in there at all. What specific actions leads you tho think he is acting up ?
I'm basically saying he fakes the severity of some of the shots he takes. He's won us a fair few penalties by staying down for an exceeding amount of time until the ref calls a halt. It gets looked at and we get a penalty, then Thewlis is back up and on with it, the other night being the exception where he clearly did need to come off. Just something I've noticed at points over the past couple years.

Yes i've been pretending to be a Wire fan for the past 15 years on this board, just a sleeper cell during that time waiting for the day I could reveal myself via an observation on Josh Thewlis lol. I said he was a wet wipe in that prior post because it was another time I noticed him staying down every time he got tackled. At that time I must have thought he was a mard but now I think he does it on purpose I guess.
It's not really a massive sticking point. He's a fantastic player and I hope he's in our team for many years to come.
Was there any particular reason why Myler was bitter towards his manner of leaving Wire?
Surely it's a case that he was let go because his contract was up and the club thought they had better options or wanted a different type of player so didn't offer him a new one, or maybe offered him one on reduced terms?
That's the nature of professional sport and happens every year. Whilst affected players may be disappointed it comes with the territory.

True. Then again, it wasn't really our problem when you were desperate for players a few weeks ago, but we still sent you two established first-teamers on loan.
Personally I think it's pretty crap that someone is suggesting josh is feigning injury, there are some players that just get hit high due to their running style.
Remi casty at catalans, james donaldson at Leeds, absolutely guaranteed they would win you one or two pens a game due to receiving high shots.
That being said, in the current climate of head injuries and the fallout, thewlis would make an excellent and obvious candidate for the cte/trauma specialists to monitor his whole career to see his progression

Id definitely never be using the words ‘wet wipe’ and ‘mard’ to describe Josh Thewlis…..he’s a tough little bugger. May need to work on how he goes into contact (or wear headgear as others have suggested).
