Myler's agent, AKA Rugby League Legend Martin 'Chariots' Offiah, was sporting a rather nice black suit with white tie, white shirt combo on Sky Sports News last night/this morning. And glasses. He's gone all posh since he left league.

He was also very complimentary about Tony Smith aswell, so that could be a good sign
Warrington Wolves and Woolston Rovers - The PERFECT combination
It's a done deal...all the noise from Salford and Offiah is just 'good man, bad man'
Salford need to show there fans that they are doing there best to keep Myler, but it's all just a formality. A deal was agreed months ago, Thats why Monas was told he can look for another club.
And Briers?..Why has'nt our club already have an extension sorted out?...His contract would have been sorted last season if he were staying, wouldn't it??
He's going to Barrow as player and assistant coaching staff on a 3 year deal. £100,000 for signing and £60,000 a year salary.
That's was also a done deal sorted over two months ago....Why do you think you have not heard any concern from Briers about a contract running out and an urgency to resign in the same way you heard Longy making noises???
Get real people, the logic is there if you just see the wood for the trees.

The Wire - It's Time To Believe
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will. When the road you're trudging seems all up hill, When the funds are low, and the debts are high, And you want to smile, but you have to sigh, When care is pressing you down a bit, Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with the twists and turns, AS everyone of us sometimes learns, And many a failure turns about, When he might have won had he stuck it out: Don't give up through the pace seems slow. You may succeed with another blow.
Success is failure turned inside out, The silver tint of the clouds of doubt, And you never can tell how close you are, It may be near when it seems so far; So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit, It's when things seem worse, that you must not quit. NOW THE WIRE!

Your logic is; two halfbacks out, one in. Doesn't seem logical to me.
Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

Would love to see Myler at the Wire, but not at any cost. He is still relatively unproven at SL level and I would hope any transfer fee, and more particularly salary, would reflect this. We have first hand experience of a young player bursting onto the scene and even making the SL dream team before being sent down a level to gain experience.
