It's a waste of money. No TV exposure and it's against the team that's dicking everyone on superleague. So less than 40 on us is like a win in any other game.

No it sends a message that we are not at all happy and demand change. Not just 5% mildly irritated.
No one at the start of the season saw this coming. That's you and me and the whole world so why would you expect Tony Smith to see it. I don't think we are being out enthused but we are being really out-skilled. The game has moved on with some of the skillful plays that the likes of Castleford have come up with being undreamed of even a few years back. The noisy cry baby's (on the site) can kick and scream and make a lot of noise but we have to get through this year without being relegated and they won't help us. They just annoy the players. Forget the cup ... we have a big job on. As for Smith it would cost a fortune to sack him. Leeds/Mcdermott last year shows it may not be best idea. I personally wouldn't mind a change but at the right time and for the right man. We all get fed up of his/anyone's comments after a game ... but bloody hell it's not easy and no coach has solved the problem of what to say when his side has been stuffed again. We have some injuries and we can all see it going pear shaped but ... why are our "supporters" trying to look so clever with cheap shots and daft ideas on this site. The game has changed and very quickly. Get behind the side.
Cas are certainly playing fantasy rugby, and it's great to see in an era of defence and stats obsessed teams of robots playing the percentages, but they aren't doing anything we didn't seven years ago.
We wrote the book, we carried the torch and we walked the walk - all of which makes the current, terminal decline into banaliity all the more heartbreaking.
However, change and progression planning are as much part of the modern coaches job description as ball skills, video analysis, tactical substitutions etc etc. and we have failed significantly in that respect.
Everyone has a shelf life and sometimes decline is irreversible without significant change. What will be a real tragedy is if the genuinely excellent track record of TS at Warrington is tainted because he, and we, couldn't accept this.
