Don't KC Stadium also charge different prices for food & drink in away stand compared to the home stands, or was that just a rumour (not as if it's set my club either).

Strange then that you appear on here attempting to do so (and when failing resorting to childish Wiganesque comments like the above) and also that your club appears to think they do by issuing a press release attempting to justify the away fan pricing structure and doing so upon in-correct data that prices haven't changed.

£26.50 to sit? hardly cheap for fans who travel and need to be seated is it?

That’s why you should go in the East Stand which is the like for like comparison to the away fan’s stand at Hull ie seating behind the sticks.

Adult tickets are £2 cheaper whilst oaps and students come in at a whopping £5.50 cheaper (40% dearer at Hull) once you’re in there we’ll even charge you the same price for food and drinks.

At the end of the day Hull have shot themselves in the foot with the bad will caused (you’ll get this reaction from fans every two weeks) and any extra they get on ticket sales will more than be off-set by those who will choose to give it a miss. Lets face it Hull away is not the top of anybody’s favourite away match list.

My point was: no matter what justification we made, the hard of thinking on here, blindly refused to accept any of it, tending instead to either introduce another argument or resort to insulting the City of hull by describing it as some 3rd world township.

All of your arguments are wasted, there is nothing that the users of RL Fans can do to change the pricing structure. So instead of whingeing and moaning to us, why not take your argument to the management of both clubs?

There also seems to be two arguments on her and I'm struggling to see any concensus: is it a problem with the absolute price or is the problem with the pricing differential?

Look at other grounds and there are differentials for away supporters: Wigan and Huddersfield for two. Then if you look at Leeds, they advertise all standing at £20 but the only standing available to away fans is also totally uncovered. £23 may seem excessive but when you factor in a seat and a roof over your head (quite apart from £2 going to the away club too), as compared to £20 to stand, with the opportunity to get soaked to the skin, the £3 differential don't seem that excessive.

Nothing stopping you at Leeds in going to the east stand which is covered.

Similarly there is nothing preventing any away fan from sitting in our South Stand at £19 ubt most on here prefer to moan about paying the same price as last year

Far Superior than Wigan and Wire? How? I agree it is better than Leeds and as I haven't been to Saints new ground I cannot say either way but it does look a great stadium from the pics.

Other than Wembley, it's the only true "bowl" in Superleague, with no corners open to the elements. Seating with leg room and space for even the fattest posterior. Plenty of toilets, great facilities for wheelchair and ambulent disabled, plenty of food/beverage outlets, car-park facilities within easy walking distance, an excellent park-&-ride scheme.

Apart from the "bowl" that sounds like a lot of other stadiums really. Also isn't Saints new stadium a "bowl"? I dont see the big deal in the bowl really anyway, I really enjoy going to Wigan and the view from the seats are good. Also at wire you get a really good view from the away end.
I will say the KC is nice but it's nothing special

Come off it. I'm sure most Hull fans are very nice but there is definitely a minority who would ensure away fans were not welcome in the South Stand.

Secondly, it is not the same price.

Thirdly - I thought Hull were determined to improve their image, make themselves a more friendly club and aim for sell out crowds? Your "like it or lump it" attitude on this thread is not exactly helping, is it?
