Nigel Wright is a quite a comical lad.

When he was academy coach at Wakefield he was sat in front of us at Orrell for the Wigan v Wakefield academy game.

One of the Wakefield players was having a terrible game and the Wakefield assistant wanted to bring him off.

Wright said "No, leave the lazy barsteward on the field, make him suffer"

SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.

For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row

I understand lots of people cannot attend due to other commitments - but are there people in this forum who last night did nothing more than simply sit in front of the telly? Is there any specific reason you don't attend, or are you simply not interested?

Having not been online for a couple of days, I completely forgot about the event last night.

I've noted down when the next one is, and plan to definitely attend.

Basically just they felt it's good to have the fullback kicking off, so that the defensive line can be set and ready to move up.

I heard in the pub yesterday that Riley threatened to quit if he wasn't allowed to do the kick-offs.

Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.
