I’m no Columbo but I would be asking why take so long to say something I’d also be suspicious and think someone as been cohersed into corroborating a story. Just doesn’t sit right.
I’d agree you’re no Columbo, and neither am I , but I would have assumed there’d be a motive to cohered on a complaint.
Leigh club has nothing to gain from another suspension to McGuire.
My best guess is that it is purely a moral stance from the Leigh club to support their player.
