I hear that the American owners of Huddersfield Town football club have offered to buy Ken Davy out of their share in the lease for the stadium so the football club has sole use. That money might enable the giants to build their own "Fartown"
Perhaps a little churlish given the score yesterday but watching the tries I think Thewlis did incredibly well to score his after what was a terribly timed & early pass from Tai. I know he hits hard and puts in a shift coming out of defence but his decision making/centre play is still way off top super league quality. Probably the same with his decision to go on his own rather than use the support for his try. Not trying to be critical for the sake of it but hopefully this is something he can work on preseason as it is that difference in decision making/execution that makes a genuine top quality centre.

I don’t think it’s overly critical to say those things. He clearly does need a lot of work on his passing game but what has been a massive difference for us is the defence he brings on that side of the field. He could be a monster if he gets his passing game sorted.

I've nothing against Hudds, quite the soft spot in fact since we sort of came up together after the 09 CCF. We've obviously progressed further while in recent years we've both struggled wirh patchy levels of success. So it is very disheartening to see so many empty seats when you visit there. A smaller, compact ground with sole focus on the Giants would be great for them, it wouldn't need to be any bigger than 10,000 though!

I know for a fact that sky don’t like televising SL there due to the poor crowds that doesn’t look good on TV

He looks better in tight games where his tough tackling & solid runs stand out. Not great in space.
