Someone posted on here after the cats loss that there's a good team in there and after watching the game tonight I totally agree..there's more to come from us especially when all this rain stops
Drinkwater picked up a knock to his thigh by the sounds of things. Could see Hayes and Ratchford at half back next week. Hope Wrench is fit to take a centre spot if that’s the case although Lindop or Currie would play there if needed.

Thought Powell did well at first receiver tonight when he came on
Thewlis had an off night but still did a lot of good things. I'll spare him criticism for that one.
Currie was fantastic, his best game for us for absolutely ages IMO. I like him at LF.
The 2 most encouraging things for me are: that our discipline was really good throughout and that we have improved week on week so far this season. There are improvements to be made and theres a lot more to come, but we are heading the right way. We have a big test next week for our defence and attack, so we will have to be better again.
Currie had a bizarre night, started at loose, did a stint as an out n out prop, then finished playing at right centre, he was very good, I'm wondering if burgess is making it clear he's expecting a lot more from him as a senior player.
I'm liking fitzgibbon, our purple patch in the first half came from him and turning with quick passes and people running in and around him, drinkwater was very active as well
