See, I'm the other way. During those years, I don't think I was into it as much, had a bit of a spell where I got a bit bored and went through the motions. This week I have had butterflies since Sunday.
Whilst it is a horrible feeling, and will be terrible if we lose, this is what sport is all about, and it's awesome that it can get you so worked up, for what is effectively a couple of hours entertainment!!!
I'm a bit worried that nerves will get to me and I'll be too drunk to see the game!
