Instead, gonna get off the Liverpool South train at Runcorn and then have my dad pick me up as apparently it's near the Widnes ground. Had thought of walking from Runcorn station, anyone know how feasible this is? Also, anyone know how reliable the Crewe-Liverpool South train is? Wouldn't wanna miss this game for the world! I'm praying that the trains don't bleep up as they always do. I sadly grew up in Wigan so don't know the area at all.
Walking from Runcorn Station to the other side of the Bridge takes 10-15 minutes or so (the only slight problem can be finding the way through the maze of footpaths). Once over the bridge it's another 15-20 minutes to the stadium.
PM me if you want more details.
Alternatively, there are bus stops close to the station where you can get a bus over the bridge and into Wierdness.
If it was me I'd get off the Virgin train at Runcorn and walk or bus, but then I know the way!
